I recently demo’ed an AI-powered solution to a salon owner in Bangalore - someone I got connected to through my co-founder’s close relative. The timing couldn't have been better because she was actively looking for a way to boost her marketing and sales.

Due to a franchise-related dispute impacting the salon’s location, traffic had dropped significantly. With revenue to expense ratio climbing up, she needed a way to get her customers back who had an AOV of more than 1200 INR

The solution? AI-driven automation to handle lead nurturing, client retention, and competitor analysis.

The AI-Powered Solution I Built

I built a WhatsApp automation bot integrated with Google Sheets, creating a streamlined, real-time customer engagement system. The bot handled:

✅ Appointment Booking – Automated scheduling via WhatsApp.
✅ Contact Details Management – Seamless data storage for follow-ups.
✅ Testimonials – Showcasing 5-star reviews to attract new customers.
✅ Lead Nurturing (Review Engine) – Automated messages to retain and engage clients.

To further amplify her reach, I built a MarkovML-powered tool that analyzes competitor website to give strengths, outliers and even target audience. Within 10 seconds, she could see what was working for competitors and tweak her marketing (interesting fact she doesn’t have a marketing plan in place) accordingly and you can even get these reports sent to your inbox regularly, how easy is it for a business owner who has 100s of other things to juggle.

To enhance online visibility, I used Lovable to generate a salon website. I took a snapshot of an existing website of a salon along with a few custom requirements in a prompt and asked lovable to duplicate it and VOILAA, there it is

Retention: The AI bot nurtures existing leads with personalized offers, benefits, and incentives.

Acquisition: By leveraging customer testimonials, automated campaigns, and competitor ad insights, the salon can attract new customers efficiently.

✅ End on a lighter note. Ignore talking about business, deals, offers etc..
